ASSOCHAM congratulates Pushkar Dhami on taking over as Uttarakhand CM

ASSOCHAM today congratulated Mr Pushkar Singh Dhami on being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand , expressing confidence that the economic development of the hilly state would gather further pace.

” Mr Dhami, who takes over as Uttarakhand Chief Minister for the second time, is a young and energetic leader, committed to the all-round development of the state, also known as Dev Bhumi. We at ASSOCHAM extend our best wishes for a success of his government,” the chamber Secretary General Mr Deepak Sood said.

He said the ASSOCHAM would work closely with the state government in further development of Uttarakhand ,which holds tremendous potential for tourism, horticulture and food processing . “In all these areas, our chamber would be happy to partner with the Dhami Government in taking up joint studies, organising investors’ summits and conducting buyer-seller meets”.

Mr Sood said with Covid abating, Uttarakhand should be receiving a pre-pandemic level of summer tourists in the season. ” It all augurs well for the state,” he said.
